Our team has the experience

Cliff is a 2nd generation owner behind his father, Merv. Cliff began his career as an apprentice in 1997 under his father and older brother, Tim. He learned the fundamentals of HVAC in those years working weekends, afternoons and summers while attending school. Once he graduated high school, he continued his education achieving an associate’s degree for HVAC. Through the years Cliff has added to his education by attending numerous classes, programs and workshops. Working his way up through the ranks from apprentice, crew leader, service technician, service manager, sales manager, commercial project manager, estimator to now owner he has seen all phases of HVAC and is knowledgeable in all. Cliff enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and being outdoors.

Merv has a lengthy resume so we will keep it short, he began in sheet metal directly out of school. Working his way through multiple titles and countless amazing jobs he became the minority owner of a large insulation company in Augusta. Running large jobs all along the east coast. As the insulation business started to dwindle, Merv switched gears and went into HVAC with close friend, Baxter Vinson Jr. Baxter, a very seasoned Technician, began to share his knowledge of the field with Merv and thus began a fruitful relationship that lasted over 3 decades. Merv earned his warm air license in 1994 and started Diversified Air Technology. Working on mostly large military bases across the southeast, D.A.T made its name for large commercial projects. Now Merv is one of our most knowledgeable team members with over 65 yrs of input to provide. He enjoys fishing, hunting and tinkering with his hot rods in his spare time.

Tracy stepped into the roll back in 2017 and has never missed a beat. She runs our office at TempRite Mechanical LLC and takes pride in getting to know our customers on a personal level. She is very knowledgeable and able to assist our clients in a professional and timely manner. She can assist in scheduling, financing and reports. Tracy enjoys spending time with her family on her time off.

Baxter, Son of Baxter Jr, has over 35 yrs of knowledge to add to our team. Baxter specializes in all things HVACR. He has experience in all phases of the industry, working with his father from an early age. Baxter is a very meticulous person, and it reflects in his work. He will always go over and above for his clients when repairing their HVAC. If he sees something out of place even if it does not pertain to the job at hand, it’s corrected. Baxter leads our service team with his knowledge and integrity with great pride. Baxter is an avid fisherman and ATV enthusiast on his days off.

Tommy has over 20 years of experience in the field of HVAC with backgrounds in automotive repair, flooring and small engine repair. Tommy has great personal etiquette when handling our clients. He is thorough and ensures to give our clients peace of mind with options for repair and replacement. Tommy is a motorcycle enthusiast on his time off. Traveling all over the county exploring new places.
